Clockwork Orange is on the agenda

Posted by jiggitysmith - March 10th, 2008

Since teaching my friends how to use Flash is probably going to take some time, I decided to do a small project in the mean time that you guys won't be seeing for at least a couple months.

I'm officially involved in the Kubrick Collab (I got a good feeling about this one) and I'm doing the 40-45 second segment on 'A Clockwork Orange.' I'm looking forward to this because this'll give me a chance to mature my animating skills even further. And no. I will not be cutting out the characters from the movie and animating them like I did the cats. I'm actually going to be using my own artwork.

For those of you who still need the links to download the Lolcat DVD, here they are again:

(Oh and by the way, I intend to release another bonus feature this coming Friday)

Groovy!

Lol so far the hardest part is figuring out what to do exactly. I have to capture the essence of a 2 hour movie in 45 seconds :(

well good luck with that

Lol thanks (Yea I know it sounds pretty anticlimatic). I'm hoping to have my part done for this collab in a week or two (it's only 45 seconds) and I was going to take a week or two break anyway, but after resting a few days I'm getting bored.

It is awesome to see your enthusiasm on this! I can't wait to see what you will do with clockwork Orange. Just so you know, my spartacus scene is going to be a comedic one. yeah, I figure it'd mix the collab up a little.

Well originally I was thinking of trying to do a Clockwork orange much like those re-enactments in 30 seconds with bunnies. But there's way too much going on that in order to cover everything important, I'd need a 10 minute segment lol.

I'll have to figure out how to compress the most important parts into one big mashup scene or something.....edit: Oooooo I just figured out what I'm going to do (more on this when I have something to show). Fortunately I now have help from the UK for some authentic English accents so hopefully this will go over pretty well.

Haha,nice.
By the way, nice choice,i hope to see a great work from you =D
