Well, the way I'm trying to work it is I want to do animation freelancing as a primary job although that's typically pretty hard to do. What's funny is I'm gathering appeal because I'm not a classically-trained animator (I taught myself pretty much everything I know and it gives my style of animation a unique flair it wouldn't have otherwise)
I wouldn't be pursuing this option, however, if I didn't improve since the last Lolcats and expect to continually improve. I mean, I had a staff member at that magazine tell me the first episode of the next set of Lolcats was quite literally "Awesome" and, as a result, wanted to give me more coverage. So when that comes to pass I'll definitely be mentioning it.
Sorry for the long reply. In short, I'll be animating till the day I die probably and getting sponsors will only make me make more.
