Slayer isn't that great of a plugin. I only use it for instruments that I don't intend to sound like a guitar usually (like in 'Tough Walk,' most of the Electronic sounds you hear are actually a slayer guitar run through a bunch of FX).

I would recommend getting the SFZ plugin (it's freeware) and get some good guitar soundfonts (Also I recommend getting the Camel Crusher plugin - also freeware - it's a distortion plugin) and combining the two can make for a really awesome-sounding false guitar.

You know I'm glad I checked you out. You write some really catchy and fresh stuff. I've noticed a good deal of it lacks a central melody and reminds me more of like a background music loop. But as you mature as a musician/composer that is bound to change.

Keep up the good work (seriously I'm digging these enough that I may use some of these in a future animation. Normally I write my own music, but I thought I wouldn't find anything original on Newgrounds).

I love strings and this sounds pretty spiffy, but I got a question. Are the strings just a loop you found or do you have some sort of plugin / sample library where you write the melody from scratch with them? (and if that's the case, could you please tell me? I would kill to be able to write music using realistic stringed instruments).

But the voices don't vary much. The ones that do vary, sound like the original voice actor is just doing a bad impression of someone else (except for the cartooney voice - that one genuinely sounds like it could be from a different voice actor).

Most of it basically sounds like the same guy put into several different situations / scenarios, but fully expressed the emotion of whatever the situation warranted.
